Young Children

For riders ages 5 - 10 only. Lessons on either a pony or a horse will teach youngsters grooming, saddling and riding.

All lesson participants will have the chance to ride as well as assist with grooming, saddling, and unsaddling (if desired). Longer lessons may be used to learn more about horse care (bathing, vetting, farrier). Contact us if you have any questions! To avoid a cancellation fee, PLEASE PROVIDE NOTICE FOR CANCELLATION 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE! You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by emailing us at equinepark@leashesandleads.com, or calling our office at 507-315-1500.

$5 rental helmet available. Helmets are required for all riders under 18 and strongly recommended for those over the age of 18. We do not allow bicycle riding helmets. We require long pants and closed toe shoes without laces. No snow boots unless they have a substantial heel on them. Slip on riding boots are preferred. We do have boot rental available also.
